Limited-edition merchandise you can’t even get in Japan — One Piece flagship store pops up in Taiwan

The renowned Japanese manga One Piece is a classic beloved by many. In 2012, the world’s first One Piece flagship store opened in Tokyo’s Shibuya district and immediately garnered global attention, becoming one of the reasons overseas fans make a pilgrimage to Tokyo. Later, due to venue renovations, it relocated and was redesigned. Now, the official team has decided to revive the charm of the original store by recreating the authentic contours of the founding shop in Taiwan.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of One Piece, the official team has decided to recreate the original flagship store at Taipei’s Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Ximending branch. Not only is the store design full of clever touches, but this special edition merchandise collection includes fan-favorite items, original artwork, a collaboration with Kumamon, a series commemorating the fifth anniversary, and Taiwan-exclusive merchandise that you can’t even buy in Japan. In addition to these limited-edition items, simply making a purchase allows you to take home a limited-edition shopping bag featuring Eiichiro Oda’s original manuscript.
