The longest scenic suspension bridge in the country, Chiayi County’s Meishan Township “Taiping Cloud Ladder,” will allow visitors to purchase same-day tickets via credit card on the “Taiping Cloud Ladder Ticketing System” website on the day of their visit starting November 1. This enables walk-in visitors who haven’t made advance reservations to also enjoy the bridge and scenery.

Since its official opening on September 23, Taiping Cloud Ladder has maintained high recreational quality through a reservation system that limits visitor numbers and manages time slots. In its first month, over 50,000 visitors have come to the ladder. However, many were unable to board due to not making prior reservations, only to find that same-day ticket sales weren’t available, leading to disappointment. To provide better service, Taiping Cloud Ladder will begin selling same-day tickets on the “Taiping Cloud Ladder Ticketing System” website starting November 1. Visitors who haven’t purchased tickets on-site can book online if there’s availability during their desired time slot, pay by credit card, and then ascend the ladder to take in the beautiful views of the Jianan Plain.

However, time slot availability is limited each day and cannot be guaranteed. The earliest you can reserve is 30 days before your planned visit, and you can even book and pick up tickets at the Uni-President chain’s multimedia kiosks “ibon.” Don’t miss out on this incredible experience.
