Stretching along Taiwan’s east coast, Provincial Highway 11 runs 178 kilometers from Ji’an Township in Hualien County in the north to Meihua in Taimali Township, Taitung County in the south. 1. Niushan Huxia Courtyard

Niushan Huxia Courtyard is a unique and mysterious place, tucked between mountains and the coastline like a hidden paradise—reminiscent of a martial arts hermitage or a heavenly realm on earth. It is a serene grazing and farming land created by the Amis people, offering freedom and tranquility. The blockbuster film *Silence*, released in 2017 and entirely filmed in Taiwan, includes scenes shot at Niushan Huxia Courtyard in Hualien.

2. Baxi Viewpoint
Located at the 31.5-kilometer mark of Provincial Highway 11, Baxi Viewpoint is a rare high vantage point along the coastal highway. From the top, looking south, you can see Jishih Bay, Guhou Cape, and Xinshe Sea Cliff, presenting a uniquely layered coastal landscape.

3. Qinbuzhi Skywalk
The newly built “Qinbuzhi Skywalk” in Fengbin Township, Hualien, spans 170 meters and is constructed along a cliff edge. The walkway features transparent reinforced glass beneath your feet, offering thrilling views as you walk alongside rugged cliffs on one side and the vast Pacific Ocean on the other—with a sheer drop just beneath you.
