The Haishan Building Monster Building is a must-shoot IG hotspot for many travelers visiting Hong Kong. This old mixed-use residential and commercial complex, consisting of five buildings forming a square structure, is called the Monster Building due to its spectacular density. Now, Taiwan has a similar sight to offer, located in the Guomao Community in Zuoying, Kaohsiung. The dense and vast architecture gives the illusion of being in Hong Kong.

Also known as Bihai New ?, the Guomao Community consists of 13 buildings, renovated from a decades-old naval dependents' village. To accommodate a large population, it was specially designed as an onion-like concentric circle community. Two semi-circular buildings form a circle, creating a unique visual aesthetic. The area is fully equipped with markets, restaurants, and other essential amenities.
