The Lihpao Outlet Mall, which opened at the end of 2016, not only features numerous outlet brands but also combines a theme park, hotels, and the newly completed giant Ferris wheel “Sky Dream,” making it the largest new landmark in central Taiwan. Recently, the Lihpao Group announced the second-phase planning and design, which includes not only additional malls but also the creation of a lake and canals to build Taiwan’s first outlet designed along a lakeside, expanding its retail footprint while developing greater tourism business opportunities.

The Lihpao Outlet Mall has once again partnered with the original Japanese planning and leasing team, and has now completed the second-phase planning and design. Leasing will officially begin next year, with completion set for 2019. Continuing the vibrant, colorful Italian architectural concept inspired by the Italian town of “Portofino” by the sea and wind from the first phase, the second phase showcases the street design concept of “Lake Como,” a summer resort in northern Italy. This shopping mall, designed with a theme of one mountain and one sea, creates Taiwan’s first lakeside shopping paradise.

The entire area is connected by a canal that runs through the outdoor Galleria Mall and the indoor Casa Mall. The outdoor shopping street design draws inspiration from Milan Cathedral’s nearby “Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II,” featuring large high-ceilinged arcades that allow for easy shopping whether it's sunny or rainy.

Lihpao’s second-phase outlet covers approximately 6 hectares, with a total floor area of 85,000 square meters. Upon completion, the total number of stores and brands across both phases will reach 300. Along the canal that runs through the entire area, the second phase is divided into two malls: the outdoor Galleria Mall and the indoor Casa Mall. The romantic European-style architecture offers visitors the illusion of being abroad.
