Taiwan’s most premium Starbucks just opened — the first-ever modern reserve bar is here

Taiwan’s first “Starbucks Reserve Bar” branch has officially opened on the B1 food court level of Taipei 101, not only providing the highest-quality reserve coffee beans from around the world, but also uniquely introducing the full range of professional coffee brewing equipment, delivering a brand-new premium coffee experience for enthusiasts.

The branch’s design incorporates Taipei 101’s core bamboo joint concept, exuding a modern Eastern ambiance. The exterior columns use a fair-faced concrete technique with bamboo molds, while the bar features an elegant, expansive semi-circular marble design with a contemporary touch. The seating area’s sofas are hand-stitched with leather weaving, creating a top-tier coffee experience.

The Starbucks Reserve Bar is outfitted with seven premium coffee brewing devices, including “siphon coffee,” “pour-over coffee,” “cold brew,” “nitro cold brew,” “coffee press,” “Chemex pour-over,” and the “Black Eagle coffee machine.”

The branch also offers three exclusive drinks from Seattle’s Coffee Dream Factory: “Reserve Classic Alfresco,” “Reserve Iced Shaken Espresso,” and “Reserve Cortado.” Additionally, there are two limited-edition treats: “Caramel Sea Salt Cocoa Tower” and “Classic Mille-Feuille.” Of course, there are also Taipei 101-exclusive items, such as reserve commemorative cups featuring the 101 skyscraper, stainless steel cups, enamel mugs, glass water bottles, tote bags, and loyalty cards.
