Walking into the bald cypress forest creates an illusion of being in the northern regions, offering a truly romantic experience. Located near “Jingpu Pond” in Liujia District, Tainan, a recently discovered bald cypress secret spot has emerged. A whole row of bald cypress trees has been planted along the lakeside, and viewing them from different times and angles reveals ever-changing beauty, attracting many visitors to take photos and admire the scenery.

Liujia District in Tainan is known for its many ponds, and Jingpu Pond is one of them. It is a nationally important wetland and also an irrigation pond managed by the Jianshan Irrigation Association. The entrance is located on the east side of Provincial Highway 1 at the 299.2 km mark, featuring about a 500-meter southern shore walking trail and approximately a 200-meter western shore trail.

To preserve the wetland’s original state, there is little artificial development here—only basic features such as a lakeside walking path, pavilions, landscape fences, and interpretive platforms. Nearby is the Linkou Ranch, and the row of bald cypress trees is currently still emerald green. However, as temperatures have recently dropped significantly, they will become even more stunning after changing colors.
