Starbucks' largest new global opening features a 3D-printed bar counter and ultra-modern AR scenes

After reclaiming the operating rights of Shanghai Starbucks and switching to a fully owned direct management model, Asia's first experiential store "Starbucks Reserve® Shanghai Roastery" has officially opened in Shanghai. Known for being tall, luxurious, and featuring "VR," it is the world's second Reserve Roastery following the first "Seattle Reserve Roastery" in 2014. It also includes the world’s first Teavana tea bar made from 3D-printed recyclable materials.

Starbucks Shanghai Roastery is not only the largest Starbucks store in the world to date, covering 843 ping (approximately half the size of a football field), but also the world’s largest immersive coffee experience store. As you enter the store, you’re greeted by a giant copper barrel about two stories high and weighing 40 tons, decorated with more than 1,000 traditional Chinese seals and seal carving patterns, hand-carved with the story of Starbucks and coffee.
