Fulong isn’t just a summer water-play paradise—it’s also a must-visit destination in winter. This time, the Northeast Coast & Yilan Coast National Scenic Area Administration and Fullon Hotels jointly organized the “Light Spots·Fulong” series of events, which not only features decorations across more than 10 creative light zones but also centers around the theme of “Happy Times.” Using soft warm hues and blue-white lights symbolizing Fulong’s blue skies and white clouds, combined with diverse themes, the winter nights in Fulong are adorned like a romantic starry sky, making it a must-visit photo spot recently!

This “Light Spots·Fulong” series uses “light” as the main element to create various themed sceneries and regional feature concepts. Among them, the most eye-catching is the “Beautiful Lychee Fulong” at the Fulong Visitor Center, which specially remakes the lychee light decorations left over from the 2014 “Taiwan Lantern Festival.” The combination of old and new decorations embodies the spirit of environmental recycling. Additionally, the “Embracing the Sea” theme area in Fulong Ocean, located on Provincial Highway 2, features various marine creatures standing within it, as if inviting passersby to stop and admire the magnificent beauty of the sea, leaving one mesmerized.

The “Flower Forest and Butterfly Whisper” light zone at the banyan tree square in front of Fullon Hotel creates the ambiance of butterflies fluttering among a sea of blossoms, and within this light zone, there is also a two-meter-long national bird—the “Taiwan Blue Magpie”—soaring above, presenting an incredibly beautiful sight. Meanwhile, the “Happiness Starting Point” exhibition area at the Shamrock Square features an installation art piece inspired by Singapore’s Skytree, paired with pink and green happiness-themed color changes, and its warm tones also fill people with a sense of joy.
