Taiwan’s largest capsule toy machine is here — a colorful container park makes a vibrant debut

The giant capsule toy machine has become a hot topic online. Following its appearances on Wumin Street in Tainan and at Tainan’s Big City Department Store, another towering machine — about four stories (12 meters) high and claimed to be the largest in Taiwan — has emerged in Tamsui. It made its debut at the “2017 Tamsui Egg Egg Festival” in Tamsui’s fairy-tale new town.

In addition to the eye-catching giant capsule toy machine, the Tamsui Egg Egg Festival has also created a colorful container park. The exhibition is themed around “eggs” and includes dozens of fun activities such as a super-large colorful egg, a world capsule toy exhibition, the Egg Evolution Pavilion, and cartoon egg celebrities, ensuring enjoyment for visitors of all ages.

To continuously promote and develop large-scale cultural and artistic events and exhibitions in Tamsui, the “Tamsui Egg Egg Festival” special exhibition selects culturally and historically representative cuisines, artworks, and traditional local toys from various countries. It aims to develop in diverse directions such as heritage and deepening, internationalization, and entertainment. This is intended to broaden cultural and artistic perspectives, promote local creative cultural industries, and boost tourism in Tamsui through diverse themes including art, ecology, children’s play, science, cuisine, and surrounding attractions to create an innovative park.
