The newly opened Starbucks Tianyu branch in Tienmu features a standalone building with European-style garden greenery and an outdoor terrace seating area, making it a new hotspot for photos in Taipei and attracting many visitors. 1. Tienmu Water Channel
Tienmu Water Channel, commonly known as Tienmu Ancient Trail, offers trails with views of the valley and terraced fields between Guandu Plain and Shamao Mountain. Its beautiful natural scenery makes it one of the popular hidden hiking spots. Even at noon on weekdays, it’s bustling with hikers—perfect for a nature walk.

2. Tienmu Creative Market
Located near the Starbucks Tianyu branch, Tienmu Plaza boasts Taipei’s largest commercial area with the most green space. It features a variety of unique shops, quiet alleys, and a strong international vibe. Every weekend, it hosts lively flea markets and creative fairs.

3. Tienmu White House
Once a dormitory for U.S. military personnel stationed in Taiwan, the Tienmu White House is located at the entrance of Tienmu Park. It is the only remaining U.S. general’s residence in Tienmu. Its white rain-screen cladding exterior bears witness to the history of U.S.-China defense cooperation and stands as a local landmark, as well as a nostalgic memory for many Tienmu residents. It was designated as a municipal historic site by the Ministry of Culture in 2005, and after renovation, officially opened to the public on July 20.
