Taipei’s Shilin Official Residence will host the “2018 Shilin Official Residence Tulip Exhibition – Tulips Meet Holland” from February 13 to February 28 in its Western-style garden area, showcasing nearly 20 unique tulip and hyacinth varieties in diverse colors and shapes. With Dutch elements like windmills and wooden clogs incorporated, the Shilin Official Residence will transform into a Taiwanese version of Keukenhof, creating a limited-time, colorful, and romantic tulip sea.

Before the official exhibition kicks off, the Taipei City Parks Department has launched mini exhibition zones around the city hall, such as near the North Gate, to build anticipation for the main tulip display. It’s also been revealed that the official exhibition will feature a variety of colors including red, white, purple, pink, and yellow, along with eye-catching two-tone varieties that have generated much excitement. Additionally, although the “2018 Shilin Official Residence Tulip Exhibition – Tulips Meet Holland” will only run for two weeks, it offers free admission for visitors to capture the tulip sea without paying a penny. Flower enthusiasts shouldn’t miss this chance to witness this limited-time floral spectacle.
