Pingtung County Government Launches Shuttle Bus to Sichongxi Hot Springs; Direct Access from Fangliao Railway Station

To facilitate public access to Sichongxi Hot Springs, Pingtung County Government has launched a dedicated hot spring shuttle bus from July 1 to September 30. Visitors can take a train to Fangliao Railway Station and then transfer to Pingtung Bus to go directly to the Sichongxi Hot Spring area. The package also includes a 50% discount on public hot spring pools and lunch offers. For seniors aged 65 and above, the summer hot spring experience in Sichongxi starts as low as NT$335, covering round-trip fare, hot spring entry, and meals.

From July 1, Monday to Friday, the hot spring shuttle bus departs twice daily from Fangliao Railway Station directly to Sichongxi. Visitors only need to take a train to Fangliao, get off, and transfer to Pingtung Bus to enter the Sichongxi Hot Spring area directly, eliminating the previous inconvenience of having to transfer at Taiwan Route 26 in Checheng Township or arrange separate pick-up services.

Hot spring operators stated that passengers taking the hot spring shuttle bus from Fangliao Railway Station to Sichongxi will enjoy a 50% discount on all public hot spring pools, starting as low as NT$75. There are also bundled offers for hot spring entry plus lunch. Seniors aged 65 and above receive a 50% discount on the fare, with the discounted round-trip ticket, hot spring entry, and meal package starting as low as NT$335.

The Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area Administration has also added incentives — visitors who take the hot spring shuttle bus and make purchases at Sichongxi Hot Springs can present their bus ticket to receive one eco-friendly bag from participating operators.

Pingtung County Government Summer Hot Spring Special Program:
★ Shuttle Bus:
1. Operates every Monday to Friday.
2. Two morning departures at 08:20 and 11:00 from Fangliao Railway Station to Sichongxi.
3. One afternoon return trip at 15:00 from Sichongxi to Fangliao Railway Station.
4. One-way fare: NT$110 for regular ticket, NT$55 for senior ticket.
5. Promotion period: July 1 to September 30, a total of three months.

1. Present your shuttle bus ticket.
2. 50% discount on all public hot spring pools, starting as low as NT$75.
3. Hot spring entry + lunch deals, starting as low as NT$225.
4. Please bring your own swimsuit, swim cap, and towel.
5. Cooking by the pool is allowed (bring your own utensils). Participating operators: Jingfu Villa, Hot Spring Grand Hotel, m:Spring Hot Spring Inn, New Guishan Lodge.
6. Special Gifts (provided by Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area Administration): Present your bus ticket upon hot spring purchase to receive one eco-friendly bag from participating operators. Limited to 1,000 bags.
