"Outside the RV is the vast world, inside the RV is a cozy home." RVs perfectly combine travel and daily life, allowing you to journey while enjoying the ride. This new leisure lifestyle is gaining increasing popularity among Chinese people, making RVs a hot commodity in the Chinese market.
Organized by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, Shanghai International Automobile City (Group) Co., Ltd., and the Culture and Tourism Bureaus of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui, and hosted by the RV Committee of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, RV World (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd., and Wanchuang United (Shanghai) Management Consulting Co., Ltd., this national large-scale comprehensive exhibition — the "China International RV Tourism Expo" — has emerged in response to demand and will be grandly held at the Shanghai Automobile City Convention and Exhibition Center from April 27–29, 2019.
The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers is committed to implementing national policies, safeguarding the overall interests of the industry, and revitalizing China’s automobile industry. Its mission is to reflect the wishes and demands of the industry and provide two-way services for both the government and the industry. To vigorously promote the comprehensive development of the RV and tourism industries, the association formally approved the hosting of this expo. In collaboration with Shanghai International Automobile City (Group) Co., Ltd. and the Culture and Tourism Bureaus of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui, it selected Shanghai — located in the Yangtze River Delta economic zone and one of China’s most important economic hubs — as the venue for this exhibition. This choice is expected to significantly boost the development of the RV tourism industry in the Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui regions. The RV Committee of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, as the only legitimate industry organization for RV manufacturers in China, has long been dedicated to advancing the RV industry. It has organized numerous RV-related exhibitions and events, making outstanding contributions to the sustained and healthy development of the industry, and earning widespread recognition and acclaim from the sector. As the organizer of this expo, the RV Committee has joined forces with the Self-Driving Travel & Camping RV Branch of the China Tourism Vehicle and Vessel Association and the Automotive Camping Branch of the Federation of Automobile and Motorcycle Sports of China — two authoritative industry organizations — to jointly create this comprehensive industry event. The convening of this expo is certain to greatly advance the healthy and effective sustainable development of the RV tourism industry. The co-organizer, RV World (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd., brings over a decade of professional experience in organizing RV exhibitions. It has contributed valuable insights and resources to ensure the smooth preparation of this event. Wanchuang United (Shanghai) Management Consulting Co., Ltd., with years of rich experience in cultural creativity and campsite planning, has also provided strong support for the expo’s preparation.
At the same time, this expo has received full recognition from government and industry leaders at all levels, as well as from relevant domestic and international industry associations. The Self-Driving Travel & Camping RV Branch of the China Tourism Vehicle and Vessel Association, the Automotive Camping Branch of the Federation of Automobile and Motorcycle Sports of China, 21st Century RVs, the RV Family, the American RV Industry Association, the German RV Industry Association, the Australian RV Industry Association, the Japanese RV Industry Association, and the Korean RV Industry Association, among others, will all serve as supporting organizations, offering significant assistance to the expo.
The expo will adopt the theme of "Leading the Future of China’s RV Industry." Through a variety of colorful activities including exhibitions, conferences and forums, award ceremonies, trade talks, and camper gatherings, it aims to create a major industry event for RV tourism. The expo is expected to cover an area of 60,000 square meters, inviting hundreds of companies engaged in various aspects of the RV tourism industry to participate — including domestic and international RV manufacturers, dealers, RV parts suppliers, campsite and outdoor equipment producers/sellers, domestic campsites/camping parks, water sports equipment providers, and tourism product suppliers. It is anticipated to attract tens of thousands of visitors, gathering industry elites, professional buyers, and RV enthusiasts from both China and abroad to discuss the future of China’s RV industry.
The China International RV Tourism Expo is dedicated to promoting the comprehensive development of China’s RV and tourism industries, accelerating the integration of the entire industrial chain from manufacturers to end users, establishing an optimal platform for cultural, tourism, and economic trade, and striving to advance the development of China’s RV camping industry.
