The mountain forest and railway culture lantern area of the Taiwan Lantern Festival is unveiled ahead of time. Internationally renowned art masters have used the hottest technology to create a large-scale installation art piece called "Forest Spring." The mountain forest and railway lantern area will completely transform the traditional lantern-viewing experience, leaving visitors amazed.

Through AR (augmented reality), LED walls display the scenic beauty along the forest train route. By simply moving your body, you can trigger special effects on the screen, allowing participants to become passengers and, with the help of motion-sensing technology, enjoy the unique railway scenery of Alishan together.

The mountain forest and railway culture lantern area covers an area of over 3 hectares, with design elements inspired by the mountains of Chiayi and railway culture. In addition to the innovative tech-based lighting installation "Railway Forest Sentiment," it also incorporates natural mountain forest elements of Chiayi to create the large-scale installation art "Forest Spring."

There is also the county bird, the Mikado Pheasant, made of stainless steel with a blue glowing effect, its wings slowly flapping up and down, which is very eye-catching. Both "The Time Tunnel of Liyuanliao – Walking Through Time" and "Taiping Skywalk – Plant Light Project III" are creative works inspired by famous scenic spots in Chiayi.
