The strongest winter cold front continues to wreak havoc, with snowfall starting in mountainous areas across Taiwan, including Yangmingshan, Wulai, and Taipingshan. This has sparked a wave of snow-chasing enthusiasm, with many tourists and netizens thrilled at the chance to witness the stunning snowy scenery. In particular, most areas of Taipingshan are covered with a layer of snow, making it feel like you're in a world of silver beauty.

1. Yangmingshan
Snowfall began in the early morning of February 5 on peaks such as Datun Mountain and Qixing Mountain in Yangmingshan, prompting the first phase of traffic control. Snow also started falling around 5 a.m. at the saddle area of Yangmingshan, where the temperature was 0.2 degrees Celsius, and lasted for about 50 minutes.

2. Fushoushan Farm
Fushoushan Farm in Lishan, Taichung, saw snowfall as early as early January. Not only were large swathes of forest covered in white, but even the roofs of camping cabins were dusted with snow, creating a fairytale-like scene.
