Kinami Hannosuke and DimDimSum to Open New Outlets in Taichung, Expected to Debut by Year-End

Following the opening of the Rilakkuma-themed café at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Taichung Zhonggang Store, another heavyweight queue-worthy eatery is set to meet the people of Taichung. Goo Juping, deputy store manager of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Taichung Zhonggang Store, revealed that they have invited Taipei’s popular queue restaurants “Kinami Hannosuke” and “DimDimSum” to open outlets in Taichung, with an expected debut by the end of the year.

Goo Juping stated that the F&B market is one of the key focus areas for Shin Kong Mitsukoshi recently. They have been closely monitoring popular queue restaurants in Taipei and actively engaging in discussions for potential collaborations. It has now been confirmed that they will be working with...<名店“金子半之助”与由棒棒堂阿玮引进的港式点心店“点点心”。另外，他们也对于自助餐厅很有兴趣，只是目前有多店经营的飨食天堂与港来海港餐厅的台中店都与竞业合作，或许会与台北的饭店业者谈看看有没有合作的可能性。

Japanese queue-worthy cuisine “Kinami Hannosuke” Edomae-style Tendon<专卖店去（2015)年11月登台，目前已有北车店及三井OUTLET两家店，而台湾分店提供的菜单不只有日本桥本店的“江户前天N<”，还有“上天N<”及“天N<”共3款人料理，而江户前天N<中使用的“穴子(星鳗)”还是由日本进口，长度比手掌还要大。至于金子半之助最重要的秘制酱汁，也是由日本调制好再运送来台湾。

DimDimSum opened in Jordan, Hong Kong in 2010, and was introduced to Taiwan by celebrity A-Wei as the local agent. Currently, the Taiwanese branch of DimDimSum offers a total of 25 types of Hong Kong dim sum. The flavors have undergone some adjustments, as Taiwanese people generally prefer less sweet and less greasy food. Since the Hong Kong menu includes over 40 varieties, they plan to gradually phase out less popular items while continuously introducing new dim sum selections from Hong Kong to Taiwan.
