Recently, the largest mountaineering team in history successfully summited Mount Elbrus, which stands at an altitude of 5,642 meters, with 24 members reaching the top.During this Elbrus expedition,they received strong support from Yunhu phones.
Mount Elbrusis located in the southwestern part of Russia in the Greater Caucasus mountain range, belonging to the Bokovoy branch of the Greater Caucasus within the Caucasus mountain system. It is a dormant volcano and is close to Georgia. The highest peak of Mount Elbrus is the highest point in Russia and is also considered the tallest peak in Europe. The mountain mainly consists of two peaks, eastern and western, with the western peak being the highest at an altitude of5,642meters (18,510feet), while the eastern peak stands at an altitude of5,621meters (18,442feet).
The mountaineering team departed from China, flew from Guangzhou to Xinjiang, and then headed to Moscow in the early hours of the morning. The climb up Elbrus was not without challenges. Hai’er said, “Theweather was terrible, with snow and very strong winds. The slopes were steep and highly prone to slipping.”After hours of trekking through wind and snow, enduring temperatures below minus 20 degrees Celsius and winds exceeding 40 meters per second, all 24 team members finally reached the summit. At the roof of Europe, they fulfilled their mountaineering dreams.
