Always known for its stunning architecture, Dubai has unveiled yet another new landmark — a football-field-sized artificial rainforest to be built inside the Rosemont Hotel and Residences. Not only does it push the boundaries of modern technology, but it also overcomes the scorching desert climate, becoming a new global tourism icon.

The Rosemont Hotel opened in 2018, spanning an area of 560,000 pyeong. In addition to guest rooms, the hotel facilities include an artificial beach and a glass-bottom pool. It is a 47-story twin-tower complex. Moreover, an artificial rainforest and a large-scale water aquarium will be created in the center, with luxury beyond imagination.

This rainforest spans approximately 2,100 pyeong. To maintain humidity and simulate rainfall, a 360-degree sensing humidification and precipitation system has been specially introduced. It is expected to plant thousands of tropical plant species and authentically recreate geographical environments such as waterfalls, streams, shallows, and swamps. A rainforest walking adventure trail has also been planned, allowing visitors and guests to immerse themselves in the experience and creating a unique Jurassic-like hidden world.
