The Stack 2 Warehouse is a historic building situated at Pier 2 of Kaohsiung Harbor, close to Pier-2 Art Center, the Light Rail Station, and the Hamasen Railway Cultural Park. In partnership with the municipal government, harbor authorities, and land development firms, the warehouse has been converted into a new creative base, bringing together artisans from various fields and leading Taiwanese brands, making it a pioneering example of the transformation of Kaohsiung’s old port area.

During the Japanese colonial period, the Stack 2 Warehouse was a single-story brick-and-tile structure. After being bombed by the Allied forces, it was rebuilt with reinforced concrete and a steel roof truss, and later designated as a historic building by the Kaohsiung City Government. For decades, the warehouse has witnessed the evolution of Kaohsiung Harbor and embraced the emergence of a new type of harbor city.

Covering an area of 3,000 square meters, the Stack 2 Warehouse retains original features such as aged walls and window structures, showcasing the refreshing charm of the old building. Through a combined approach of creative culture, exhibitions, and dining, it revives the historical waterfront space. Additionally, it aims to integrate with nearby attractions such as Pier-2 Art Center, the Light Rail Station, and the Hamasen Railway Cultural Park to create a new waterfront shopping and leisure experience in the harbor district.
