JR East Japan plans to open a “Japan Rail Cafe” in Taipei in April. Through the cafe, travelers can gather travel information from various parts of Japan, and the cafe will also sell JR Rail Passes, provide food and beverages, retail merchandise, and host events.

Japan Rail Café uses blue-green as the main color scheme, from its logo to the packaging and visual elements of its food and drinks.
JR East Japan is a major company under the Japan Railways Group, with business spanning railways, hotels, bento meals, department stores, and more. In the future, it also plans to introduce JR East Japan’s various business entities, such as hotels, bento meals, and food services, centered around train stations across Taiwan.
