Having been open for 35 years since 1983, Tokyo Disneyland is celebrating its 35th anniversary with the 345-day-long "Happiest Celebration!" special event starting April 15, 2018. The theme hopes to create the largest and most spectacular Disney celebration ever, through surprises that surpass those of previous years.

Starting April 15, the brand-new daytime parade "Dreaming Up!" and the newly and extensively renovated attraction "It's a Small World" will both make their dazzling debuts at Tokyo Disneyland, kicking off the exciting 35th-anniversary festivities. In "Dreaming Up!", Disney characters will join guests in a daytime parade, wandering together through a world brimming with dreams and imagination. Meanwhile, the updated "It's a Small World" attraction will feature up to 40 Disney character dolls, delivering a richly fantastical and surprising journey.

Additionally, the World Bazaar at Tokyo Disneyland will be transformed into "Celebration Street," welcoming guests with vibrant colors and festive décor. Tokyo DisneySea will also mark the occasion with a specially created water show, "Joyful Sea Parade," sure to delight all visitors attending the 35th-anniversary celebrations.

Starting July 10, Tokyo Disneyland will debut the nighttime spectacular entertainment show "Celebrate! Tokyo Disneyland," ushering in summer with dazzling visuals, colorful fountains, and night-sky lighting effects. At the same time, Tokyo Disneyland’s "Orleans Theater" will present the brand-new, high-energy show "Party Time!", while Tokyo DisneySea’s "Docking Stage" will introduce a new performance called "Upsy Daisy New York!" to celebrate the 35th anniversary.

To celebrate Tokyo Disneyland’s 35th anniversary, the park has set up special "Happy Mickey Touch Spots" featuring Mickey statues for photo opportunities. There will also be special food items and souvenirs available in the park—don’t miss out, Disney fans!
