In spring, as various flowers bloom, besides cherry blossoms, the purple wisteria cascading like tassels is one of the stars of the floral season. The Wisteria Café Garden in Tamsui District, New Taipei City, is hailed as the most beautiful wisteria garden in Taiwan, with its greatest feature being the wisteria pergola in the garden. Vast expanses of wisteria blooms climb along the pergola, forming a stunning purple tunnel. The purple petals of the wisteria fall like rain, creating a romantic and dreamy fairy-tale-like atmosphere.

Inside the corridor, purple wisteria flowers fall like rain, creating an alternative floral carpet.
The Wisteria Café Garden, which meticulously maintains its flowers, is only open from March to May each year. Opening hours are adjusted according to the season and flower conditions to provide the most beautiful garden view. Spanning nearly 3,000 pyeong of garden space and café seating, visitors can not only marvel at the breathtaking beauty of the wisteria but also enjoy a wide variety of colorful flowers such as roses, angel’s trumpets, and irises planted throughout the park—offering travelers a feast for the eyes and a chance to immerse themselves in a stunning floral wonderland.
In addition to wisteria, the Wisteria Café Garden also grows a diverse range of flower varieties, including roses, angel’s trumpets, and irises, all of which can be admired in the park.
To maintain flower quality, the Wisteria Café Garden is only open during spring each year for everyone to enjoy.
This year, the Wisteria Café originally planned to open from March 20 to May 10. If you want to admire the annual beautiful display of wisteria, consider planning a flower-viewing trip during the holidays.
