Within Taiping Mountain National Forest Recreation AreaRenze Hot Springshas completed renovation and officially reopened on the 2nd. Previously damaged partially by a typhoon, the park undertook the redevelopment and, in line with travel trends, revamped the family onsen rooms by adding more units to offer visitors greater access.

The public may not be very familiar withRenze Hot Springs,but it was formerly known as “Jiuzhi Ze Hot Springs.” In line with the retro trend, the Luodong Forest Management Office has reverted to its original name—so visitors should take note. Located at an altitude of 520 meters with abundant geothermal resources, Renze Hot Springs is a weak alkaline sodium bicarbonate hot spring. The water is high quality, colorless, odorless, and leaves skin exceptionally smooth, earning it the reputation of “Beauty’s Hot Spring.” To provide a more premium and comfortable soaking experience, thefamily onsen rooms have been reconfigured, now offering 18 rooms across 3 styles,increasing turnover during peak hours and reducing wait times, so more visitors can enjoy the hot springs amid the sounds of birds along the stream, fluttering butterflies, and the embrace of nature.
