On the 16th, the frontal system will have passed, bringing localized brief showers to northern Taiwan, the eastern half of the island, mountainous areas in central and southern Taiwan, as well as Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu, with scattered brief showers also possible elsewhere. On Saturday, areas north of Taoyuan and the eastern half of Taiwan will see rain and cooler temperatures ranging between 17–21°C. Conditions will gradually ease and clear up on Sunday with temperatures rising. Central and southern Taiwan will experience warmer temperatures between 17–26°C, but with large diurnal temperature variations, so stay warm in the mornings and evenings to avoid catching a chill.

On the 17th, affected by the northeast monsoon, the northern and northeastern parts of Taiwan will turn slightly cooler. Localized brief showers are expected in northern Taiwan, the eastern half of the island, and mountainous areas in central and southern Taiwan, while other areas including Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu will see mostly cloudy to sunny weather. Conditions from Sunday to Monday will stabilize somewhat. The next frontal system is expected to affect Taiwan around Tuesday the 20th.
