The movie "Soul Mate," which won the Best Actress award for both leading actresses at the 2016 Golden Horse Awards, garnered much attention. In the film, besides the protagonists' hometown being in Zhenjiang, their adult lives in Beijing also serve as key settings. Scenes from cities including Nanjing, Shanghai, Suichang in Zhejiang, Changchun, and Tibet all appear in the film. The movie also makes extensive use of travel scenes to portray the contrasting traits of stability and wandering between the two characters through shifting settings.
Russia, Vladivostok – Tokarev Light
The Tokarev Light (Tokarev Light), in July’s journey, symbolizes loneliness and the search for self. Located at Vladivostok Port, it was originally built in 1876, but the current lighthouse was constructed in 1910. It is made of stone, stands 12 meters tall.

COSTA Cruises
Both July and Ansheng have encounters with Costa Cruises during their respective journeys. Ansheng embarks on new experiences aboard the cruise, while July even works as a waitress on the Costa Serena, sailing to many unknown places — much like each searching for answers to life.
Suichang Lingquan Cave
July, Ansheng, and the male lead Su Jiaming experience an emotional turning point during this trip. This Lingquan Cave got its name because spring water gushes from cracks in the rocks above. It is located at the southern foot of Mount Santai, about five li east of Suichang County.
