The “2018 Taoyuan Agricultural Expo” is set to kick off on Children’s Day, April 4, running for 40 days. Themed “Play in Taoyuan. Savor the Agri-Expo,” this year’s expo features six major themed zones and as many as 25 exhibition halls, connecting with nearby featured attractions to present a brand-new, fun and photogenic agricultural showcase.

The expo has planned six major themed exhibition areas, including a smart technology zone, a featured industries zone, a cultural and creative arts zone, a local life zone, a multicultural zone, and an environmental sustainability zone. Among them, there’s not only the nation’s first giant “green maze” built with vertical gardens, but also a massive “bubble tea” landscape art installation themed around tea—guaranteed to deliver endless photo ops.

In addition, to promote nearby featured attractions, the Taoyuan Agricultural Expo has specially curated eco-tourism routes, launching unique mini-travel experiences such as tea farm visits, hipster strolls, ancient trail explorations, factory tours, and DIY workshops—a great new option for holiday travel.
