Every year in Japan, the “Pikachu Outbreak” event becomes a hot topic. Following its successful overseas debut at the Taipei Lantern Festival, it will once again take place in Yokohama, Japan this year. Pokémon fans, don’t miss it!

The Pikachu Outbreak event has reached its fifth year, and this year will feature over 1,500 Pikachus appearing in the celebration. In addition to the well-known daytime parade and water-splashing activities, this year will also see an upgrade with the addition of a nighttime light parade and a digital water show. Fans can enjoy the company of Pikachus during the day, and for the first time at night, a tech-enhanced light spectacle will be presented.

The following events are planned for this year:
1. Pikachu Grand Parade
Over 1,500 Pikachus are expected to participate in the grand parade, delivering completely different performances during the day and at night.

2. Digital Water Show
The “Soaking Wet Water Show” held annually at the Red Brick Warehouse has been very well received. This year, it will be fully upgraded. In addition to the grand performance during the day as in previous years, the night will feature the debut of a night light stage integrated with digital technology, which is highly anticipated.
3. Sea Pikachu Parade
As in last year, the parade and performances will take place in the inner harbor of Minato Mirai, with beautiful scenery as the backdrop. However, the content of the parade and performances will incorporate digital technology, delivering an unprecedented experience.
