The beautiful golden daylilies are a must-see floral sea every summer. In addition to the upcoming Golden Daylily Season in the Huatung Valley in August and September, a large expanse of golden daylilies has recently bloomed quietly near the passenger service center at Taichung Port. The early blooming scenery has turned the land into a golden yellow carpet, a breathtaking sight.

In recent years, the Taichung Port Passenger Service Center has invested millions of dollars in greening and beautification projects in front of the parking plaza, planting a variety of flowers, plants, and trees. The center is striving for diverse transformation, aiming not only to serve as a bridge for receiving travelers but also as one of the best spots for flower viewing and travel.

Although the golden daylily flowering season is typically in the peak of summer, due to this year’s changing climate, a vast sea of flowers can already be enjoyed in early summer. This makes it the earliest blooming golden daylily carpet in Taiwan this year, and the stunning view is truly refreshing.
