Tiger Sugar only opened its first Taipei branch in Shilin Night Market on April 26 this year, yet it quickly continued the hype seen in Taichung. With average wait times of at least 1 to 2 hours—and sometimes even up to 3 hours—Tiger Sugar has chosen to open its Taipei No. 2 Branch in Nanyang Street near Taipei Main Station to cater to the crowds.
The long queues for Tiger Sugar have spread from Taichung to Taipei, with waits of around 1 to 2 hours being the norm.
The announcement of Tiger Sugar’s Taipei No. 2 Branch has also generated an enthusiastic response online. Located in the transportation hub of Taipei Main Station, where many travelers pass through, the new branch is expected to spark another wave of queues and become the latest hot beverage topic near the station.
