Over 100,000 tourists flocked to the town of Windsor to share in the joy of Harry and Meghan’s wedding. After the church ceremony, the couple also took a roughly 25-minute carriage ride through the town in an 1883 royal carriage. Crowds from around the world and across the UK cheered loudly along the route, creating a warm and festive atmosphere.
St. George’s Chapel was built in 1474. This iconic 15th-century Gothic structure is exquisitely beautiful and serves as the royal chapel of Windsor Castle, belonging to the Order of the Garter. Many royal weddings have been held here. A visit to Windsor Castle is not complete without seeing the elegant and lofty interior and exterior of this chapel.

Many members of the British royal family have also been laid to rest here over the generations, including Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother.
