Good news for travelers who love Hello Kitty and Japan—Hello Kitty has teamed up with West Japan Railway Company to create a series of Hello Kitty-themed Shinkansen bullet trains, which will begin service at the end of June. The trains will run daily between Shin-Osaka Station in Osaka Prefecture and Hakata in Fukuoka Prefecture.

The carriages will feature a color scheme of white and pink, adorned with numerous patterns of Hello Kitty and bows, while the train staff will wear Hello Kitty-themed uniforms. The exterior of the train will also be decorated with Hello Kitty illustrations, and the 500 Series Nozomi train cars will be painted with sleek ribbons.

In addition to the abundance of vibrant patterns, the railway company has included scenic spot information inside the carriages, where souvenirs can also be purchased. A giant Kitty is also placed inside for passengers to take photos with.
Giant Hello Kitty
The Hello Kitty train consists of eight carriages. The first and second carriages introduce scenic spots in western Japan, from Tottori Prefecture to Shimane Prefecture, showcasing the unique features of the regions along the route. In addition, there are as many as 3,000 themed merchandise items available.
