Korea’s popular sandwich Isaac Toast & Coffee to pop up in Taiwan on July 18

Following cronuts, another Korean favorite food is coming to Taiwan. Isaac Toast & Coffee, a popular Korean sandwich specialty shop with thousands of franchise stores in Korea and known as the "Korean version of 7-Eleven," will hold a 10-day pop-up event in Taiwan starting July 18 at SOGO Zhongxiao. Fans who have fallen in love with their sandwiches won’t need to travel abroad to enjoy them anymore.

The sandwiches at Isaac Toast & Coffee are simple — just eggs, meat patties (ham), cheese, and lettuce, quite similar to those sold at breakfast shops in Taiwan. However, thanks to the unique Isaac toast sauce developed by founder Kim Hak Yung, their sandwiches stand out. They’ve not only become a popular dish in Korea but also one of the must-try local foods for many Taiwanese travelers visiting Korea.

Beyond the pop-up store, Isaac Toast & Coffee will also open permanent branches in Taipei. According to recruitment information on job platforms, they currently plan to launch the Guangfu flagship store in Da’an District and the Xinyi store in Xinyi District.
