The Central Weather Bureau continues to update and issue sea and land typhoon warnings for Typhoon Maria. The storm has slightly slowed but then picked up speed again to 30 km/h, moving northwestward. On the 10th, counties and cities north of Miaoli and Yilan began suspending work and school after 3 p.m., while Taipei Mayor Ko Wen-je stated that a decision on whether to suspend work and school on the 11th would be announced at 8 p.m. that day.
Update: Taipei, New Taipei, and Keelung are still discussing a delayed announcement; Taoyuan will announce at 9 p.m.
As some areas in New Taipei have already met the criteria for suspending work and school, and according to data, wind speeds in Taipei and Keelung have dropped to levels 5–6, Taipei, New Taipei, and Keelung are still discussing whether to suspend work and school, with the announcement now moved to 10 p.m.

Severe TyphoonMaria (international name: MARIA)Has weakened to a medium typhoon, currently located 290 km east of Yilan over the sea, moving northwestward at 31 km/h. Its typhoon circulation is rapidly approaching the northeastern offshore areas of Taiwan. Yilan, New Taipei, Keelung, Taipei, Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Miaoli, Taichung, Changhua, Nantou, Hualien, and Matsu should remain on high alert for strong winds and heavy rain.

Areas in the western half of Taiwan, including northern Taichung and plains in Yilan, should beware of heavy rain. Localized heavy rain or downpours may occur in mountainous areas of Taoyuan, Yilan, Hsinchu, Miaoli, and Taichung. Southern counties/cities and mountainous areas of Taitung should also be cautious of localized heavy rainfall. Be wary of landslides, falling rocks, mudflows, and flash floods. Low-lying coastal areas should be on alert for potential flooding, and avoid entering mountainous and river areas.

According to the typhoon dynamics map and forecasts from the Central Weather Bureau, the typhoon circulation had not yet left northern Taiwan as of the morning of the 11th. Whether northern cities and counties will suspend work and school remains a focus. Since the 10th, many flights have already been canceled or delayed—please stay informed.
