Mama’s Eggettes has established its first overseas branch in Ximending.
Launched last month in Taipei, Mama’s Eggettes offers three flavors—original, matcha, and coffee—along with 12 customizable toppings, including white sesame, chocolate chips, Wandan red beans, Green Giant corn, spicy, pineapple bits, banana, authentic Korean seaweed, Weifeng meat floss, double cheese, fresh salted egg yolk, and authentic Hong Kong roast meats.
The crispy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside eggettes are best enjoyed within 5–8 minutes of purchase.
The chocolate chips are made from Italian dark chocolate droplets, the matcha powder comes from Kyoto’s Kouen Seichaen in Japan, and the coffee flavor uses UCC coffee, a Japanese brand with an 85-year history. The seaweed is imported from Korea. Other flavors incorporate local Taiwanese ingredients such as Weifeng meat floss, Hsinchu Fuyuan peanut butter, Wandan red beans from Pingtung, bananas from Changhua Cooperative Farm, and yellow lemons from Taitung, allowing Taiwanese customers to enjoy authentic Hong Kong eggettes alongside the flavors of Taiwan.
A summer-exclusive slush paired with classic eggettes brings a full dose of Hong Kong flair.
Mama’s Eggettes also offers “grid cakes” with two bases—traditional Hong Kong style and Italian Ferrero Rocher-inspired—totaling six flavors, along with ice cream and Hong Kong-style teas.

In addition to the classic iced lemon tea, the drink menu features the quintessentially Hong Kong “Lemon King Salty Lemon Seven,” and recently introduced summer-exclusive slushes like salty lemon seven, thick Hong Kong-style milk tea slush, and fresh-squeezed lemon slush.
