From Hokkaido, Japan—the legendary cheese tart brand BAKE CHEESE TART, which sells over 35 million units annually—is launching its first-ever summer limited edition in Taiwan from now until August 31: the “Pineapple Coconut Cheese Tart,” available in limited quantities of 300 per store daily.

Following the long-selling classic Hokkaido Cheese Tart (original flavor) from 2016, the Valentine’s Day-exclusive Chocolate Cheese Tart, and the Setouchi Honey Lemon Cheese Tart, BAKE CHEESE TART will introduce more limited-time new flavors for the Taiwanese market starting in the second half of this year. The star product for the summer launch is the “Pineapple Coconut Cheese Tart.”
The slightly coarse texture of coconut shreds offers a subtle coconut aroma that highlights the sweet-and-sour flavor of pineapple and the richness of the creamy filling.
Yin Moku Masataka, CEO of Taiwan Bakey Co., Ltd., said: “Summer is the peak season for pineapples, and Taiwanese pineapples at this time are crisp, juicy, sweet, moderately acidic, and have fine fibers. Taiwanese pineapples pair perfectly with cheese tarts. During the R&D process, we specifically selected slightly coarse coconut shreds, which are lightly toasted in the oven to release a delicate coconut fragrance—this accentuates the sweet-and-sour taste of the pineapple and the richness of the creamy filling, creating a more tropical, island-inspired summer flavor.”

The BAKE CHEESE TART Pineapple Coconut Cheese Tart is available from now until August 31, with a daily limit of 300 units per store. Each tart is priced at NT$85, and a box of 6 is offered at a special price of NT$490. Limited-time combo deals are also available at four stores across northern, central, and southern Taiwan. Deal A: Purchase 3 “Classic Hokkaido Cheese Tarts” and 3 “Pineapple Coconut Cheese Tarts” together to enjoy a special price of NT$435 (original price NT$465).
