On December 17, the “Chongli National Fitness Ice and Snow Sports Base Unveiling Ceremony and Fulong Ice and Snow Carnival Launch Ceremony” was officially held. As a new landmark of ski resorts in Zhangjiakou, Fulong Ski Resort actively responded to the call of the General Administration of Sport of China to get “300 million people on the snow,” and is fully committed to promoting the development of ice and snow sports in China.

Wang Biao, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Chongli District Party Committee, Zhang Rui, Deputy Director of the Hebei Provincial Winter Olympics Office, Huang Yulong, Director of the Zhangjiakou Municipal Sports Bureau, Wang Tianzhong, Director of the Zhangjiakou Municipal Tourism Development Commission, Zhao Zan, Acting District Chief of Chongli District, Guo Lizhi, Austrian Counselor to China, Wang Cheng, Chairman of Fulong Group, and other leaders attended the event. Chairman Wang Cheng delivered a welcome speech, expressing gratitude for everyone’s presence. District Chief Zhao Zan extended his sincere congratulations on the unveiling of the Chongli National Fitness Ice and Snow Sports Base and the launch of the Fulong Ice and Snow Carnival. He said that Chongli has been dedicated to building an internationally renowned ice and snow sports brand. With the joint efforts of all parties, the ice and snow industry in Chongli has achieved sustained and rapid development. In the next phase of development, efforts will be made to build a comprehensive, all-season, all-people, all-elements, and all-industry-oriented large-scale tourism pattern, and to strongly promote the development of ecological tourism with ice and snow tourism as the leading sector as a regional industry to drive economic growth. Wang Min, Party Committee Secretary of CSCEC Eighth Bureau Beijing Company, Liu Boyu, President of the Zhangjiakou Ski Association, and others also delivered speeches, expressing their blessings for the event and their expectations for the development of Fulong Four Seasons Resort Town. After the speeches, a concise yet grand unveiling ceremony was held, creating a very lively atmosphere.

Since the successful bid for the Winter Olympics, Chongli has become one of the most sought-after ski destinations for skiing enthusiasts in China and around the world. However, Fulong Four Seasons Town, built around the concepts of all-resources, all-family, and all-season vacations, ensures that Chongli offers more than just snow—it welcomes travelers from around the globe as the true all-season mountain resort gateway of northern China.

While major ski resorts in Chongli compete in professionalism, Fulong Four Seasons Town takes a different path, focusing on family and children’s leisure skiing as its core concept, pioneering a new skiing vacation model in Chongli. Within the resort area, the Fulong Hot Spring, located just 300 meters from the ski resort, has a total construction area of 48,000 square meters, including 24,000 square meters of indoor hot springs, 7,000 square meters of outdoor pools, and 17,000 square meters of hotel space. Upon completion, it will be the largest water-based leisure and entertainment center in the Chongli area. To provide guests with a better vacation experience, the operator—Fulong Group—has tapped into underground hot spring water resources from a depth of 3,600 meters, serving three main themes: the hot spring hotel, the hot spring water world, and the children’s water play area.
