They bought a free seating ticket for the Hsinchu to Taichung route, and purchased the round-trip ticket all at once, thus becoming the 499,999,999th passenger (ticket number 0510202040052) and the 500-millionth passenger (ticket number 0510202040053), winning both the "Grand Prize" and the "Second Prize" at once.
Yesterday, three other lucky passengers also won the "Second Prize", with ticket numbers 0820102040006, 0620202040070, and 2806967695. Among them, the 499,999,998th passenger purchased a ticket with cash at Changhua Station yesterday and took Train 806 to Nangang; the 500,000,001st passenger purchased a ticket with cash at Miaoli Station and took Train 806 to Taipei; the 500,000,002nd passenger entered via an EasyCard at Banqiao Station and took Train 1510 to Nangang.
