The Gudetama-themed restaurant is making a limited-time appearance in Fukuoka, Kyushu, operating from July 21 to August 31 to keep you company during summer vacation. The adorable sleepy face transforms into a variety of delicious dishes—and even takes a dip in refreshing sodas, reaching maximum cuteness levels. With just over a month of limited operation, perfectly timed with summer break, Gudetama naturally spends its days lounging atop food. Beyond eggs, it also takes the form of curry rice, ikura rice, and okonomiyaki. In the summer heat, Gudetama also cools off atop shaved ice and slushies, and of course, it must hang out in soda with a floatie. Each dish showcases Gudetama’s adorable charm, leaving fans saying they can’t bear to eat it.
