Taiwan’s pioneering hand-pulled chicken eatery “Fragrant Chicken City” launched its flagship store in Xinzhuang last October, drawing enthusiastic crowds eager to revisit this beloved classic. Now, its second branch officially began trial operations on July 21, maintaining the warm and inviting style of the Xinzhuang location to create a cozy, home-like dining atmosphere.

The two-story second branch of Fragrant Chicken City features a color scheme based on the brand’s signature red and white. The building’s base is white, accented with bold red lettering. Despite being a 20-year-old brand, Fragrant Chicken City feels youthful and fresh—reflected in the modern style of its new location. Red signage pops against the white walls, and the illuminated signboard is mounted on a natural wood base, blending a hint of hipster charm with quality design.

The interior of the second branch also centers around white as the main tone, styled like an Italian restaurant. The lighting features many vintage exposed bulbs, while the tables and chairs are dark wood-grain designs. The walls are adorned with neon signs shaped like the Fragrant Chicken City logo and graffiti-style rooster images, infusing the space with trendy Western aesthetics to attract younger customers.

With its comeback, Fragrant Chicken City has upgraded its hand-pulled chicken recipe using exclusive techniques to enhance flavor. The modernized brand also emphasizes stylish interior design, ensuring the restaurant’s exterior catches the eye and draws more visitors.
