Vietnam’s new attraction — the Golden Bridge — opened in June 2018 and quickly sparked heated discussions online. Its “giant hands holding a bridge” design is truly astonishing, attracting many domestic and international travelers to visit.

The Golden Bridge (Cầu Vàng) is located on Ba Na Hill, a famous summer retreat in central Vietnam’s Da Nang, at an altitude of about 1,400 meters. With a total length of approximately 150 meters and divided into eight sections, the structure was completed with an investment of 2 billion USD.

On the Golden Bridge, two enormous moss-covered hands gently hold up the golden bridge structure, towering above the clouds and hidden within the mountain mist. Yet it doesn’t look out of place, as if it has existed here for centuries. Walking on the bridge and gazing at the endless green mountains and forests is a refreshing and uplifting experience.
