In recent years, camp education has developed rapidly in China, gaining widespread recognition from the government, schools, students, and parents. Not only has a camp education boom emerged domestically, but camps are also leading and shaping the integrated development of multiple industries.
It is reported that the forum is organized by the Innovation-Driven Education Technology Research Institute(IRIET), the China Smart Camp Alliance, and the China University Sports Network(CUSN), and hosted by the Experience Education Research Center of Anhui Polytechnic University, the Outdoor Education Research Center of Anhui Normal University, the Camp Education Research Center of Anqing Normal University, and Zhongti Qihang(Beijing)Sports Culture Development Center. The "2017China Camp Industry Development Forum" will be held on6month2day-5in Wuhu, Anhui. The forum will be held annually, aiming to establish a high-end professional platform for China’s camp industry, an annual gathering for industry leaders, and an academic hub.
It is understood that this is the first time a forum covering the entire upstream, midstream, and downstream camp industry chain has been held in China. This forum also encompassescamp education, experiential education, outdoor sports, wilderness survival, orienteering, outward bound training, rock climbing, mountaineering, hiking, camping, self-driving tours, aviation flying, and youth outdoor sports activities, among others,the entireindustry.Forum organizers stated that the camp industry is an emerging sector with broad market prospects.2017The China Camp Industry Forum aims to bring together elites from all segments of the camp industry chain, including camps, camp education institutions, schools, camp equipment/facilities enterprises, related associations, and research institutions, providing a platform for communication, resource sharing, and discussion on the development of the camp industry. The goal is to create a new landscape for the camp industry featuring collaboration between industry, academia, and research, complementary resource advantages, and synergistic innovation. The forum is expected to host200participants, with national camp leaders and education elites gathering in Wuhu to share in an unprecedented event.
Themed "Wisdom Sharing – Opening a New Era of Education," this year’s forum features major sections on macro policies, camp construction, camp operations, talent cultivation, corporate exhibitions, and product promotion,6covering4topics. During the event, there will also be activities such as the "China Camp Equipment/Facilities2016-2017Top Ten Brands of the Year" selection, an industry cooperation forum, camp course experiences, and the establishment of theIRIET"China Camp Education Academy."
