During the event period, download the “COCOAR2” app at the store and scan your ordering paper to get the AR augmented reality experience for free. Using your smartphone camera to capture real-world images, the app then overlays fireworks and yukata imagery onto your phone screen, blending the real and virtual worlds seamlessly. Especially when paired with the Showa-style store exterior of the A11 annex at the Taiwan Taipei flagship store in Shinjuku New World, Taipei, the interaction feels truly immersive.
