Located in Shoufeng Township, Hualien, the "Lichuan Fish Farm" is a leisure fishery that combines aquaculture, biotechnology, sustainability, and tourism. Here, you can not only enjoy delicious golden clam cuisine but also experience the fun activity of "clam digging and pants washing"—perfect for cooling off in summer!

Situated in the Huadong Valley, Lichuan Fish Farm is the world's only original producer of golden clams. Thanks to its pristine natural spring water and eco-friendly farming practices—free from disinfectants—it cultivates the world-renowned golden clam.

It has also won awards such as "Top Ten Outstanding Farmers" and "Top Ten Outstanding Fishermen," while continuously developing clam-related products like clam essence and nano golden clam ceramics that improve water quality. Lichuan also secured a Council of Agriculture research project years ago, proving that golden clams are not only highly nutritious but also beneficial for liver function.

After transitioning to a leisure fishery in 2001, it began offering golden clam cuisine and established the "Clam Culture Eco Museum" and "Clam-Digging Experience Pool." Visitors can head to the outdoor pool to try the "clam digging and pants washing" activity—any clams they collect can be taken home. Those who prefer not to get wet can relax in the nearby pavilion and "watch others dig." There’s also a children’s fountain play area nearby, making it a great summer cooldown spot!

After clam digging, head to the restaurant for a "Golden Clam Flavor Meal" with a diverse menu. Besides stir-fried salted clams, there are also fried clam meatballs, miso clam soup, and other dishes made with local ingredients. The place is often fully booked on weekends.

After your meal, try a "clam ice cream"—though it doesn’t taste like clams, it has a rich, natural milk flavor. The farm’s shop also sells various golden clam-related foods and souvenirs for visitors to take home.
