The “2018 Tainan Guanzi Ridge Hot Spring & Food Festival” offers three major promotional packages starting September 7 (Friday): limited tickets, local experience tours, and accommodation with a free bucket chicken.

The ultra-value limited [Guanling Hot Spring Package], which combines “food, clothing, accommodation, transportation, entertainment, and shopping,” has sold out instantly for two consecutive years. This year, an even more valuable limited offer is introduced, and for the first time, it includes tickets to the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum and the Meiya Furniture Sightseeing Factory. It will go on limited pre-sale at 9 AM on September 7. With a total value of NT$1,849, the package is specially priced at just NT$550 for 500 limited copies. The first 200 purchasers will also receive an additional Guidan Hot Spring Experience Coupon.

The full package includes: personal set meals offered by six participating restaurants to be redeemed during the event period, access to Taiwan’s only mud hot spring (public pool) with the ticket, and during weekends of the event, holders can enjoy double the yukata (bathrobe) experience time, DIY face mask or fan painting activities at the weekend market, as well as exchange for a commemorative bamboo fan and the “Love of Guanzi Ridge – Moisturizing Mask” at the service desk. And good news for those using public transport this year. In addition to regular mainline buses from previous years, a one-day pass for the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Guanzi Ridge & Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum route has been added, connecting two major attractions and providing more convenient travel arrangements for high-speed rail passengers.

To allow visitors to deeply experience the rural industry charm of the Greater Guanzi Ridge area, this year, three leisure farms in the Dongshan area have been integrated. On September 7, three exclusive local experience tours with six sessions were launched on the Tainan Fun Card platform, offering visitors not only the enjoyment of mud hot springs in Guanzi Ridge but also the chance to explore surrounding Dongshan area industries such as citrus picking, longan baking, and coffee tasting.
