Taoyuan’s locally operated department store, Leading Department Store, has undergone over a year of renovation and recently reopened for a trial run on September 15th, with an official opening on October 3rd. It has also been renamed “Tonlin Plaza.”

The revamped exterior of the department store was designed by a renowned architect, embracing the Omotesando shopping mall style to offer shoppers a Tokyo-like experience.

The modern building has also undergone a complete revamp of its retail offerings, introducing Vieshow Cinemas and numerous themed restaurants, ensuring a wide range of dining, entertainment, and shopping options.

The plaza spans four underground levels and 12 above-ground floors, with B2 to B4 being parking areas, B1 housing Eslite Bookstore, floors 1 to 8 offering fast fashion apparel and various retail stores, floor 8 featuring popular dining options such as Haidilao, and floors 9 to 12 home to Vieshow Cinemas. The complex will integrate fashion retail, restaurants, gaming, and cinema entertainment to deliver a fresh consumer experience.
