To create a better landscape and pedestrian flow for the Taichung Flower Expo opening in November, the Taichung City Government recently completed the construction of the “Houli Huama Road.” This 1.2-kilometer-long pathway, illuminated at night, transforms into a romantic and beautiful nighttime light corridor！

This “Houli Huama Road” stretches 1.2 kilometers and includes sections such as the “Flower Walkway,” the “Elevated Walkway,” and the “Bud Elevator.” The pathway is designed with the concept of “flowers” as its theme, using lily white as the main color scheme. During the day, visitors can walk along the white path surrounded by vibrant, colorful flowers. At night, lighting design turns the path into a stunning nighttime light corridor—enjoying flowers by day and the beauty of lights by night！

The “Huama Road” connects the forest and horse ranch exhibition areas of the Houli Expo Park, as well as serving as a pedestrian route to shuttle stations. The city government specially invited international lighting master Chu Lien to assist in guiding the lighting design of Huama Road. Through the use of various lighting fixtures, color temperatures, and dynamic light effects, visitors can experience this romantic and enchanting illuminated environment.
Huama Road may also serve as an extension of the Houfeng Bicycle Trail in the future
With lily white as the main color, the pathway has a somewhat exotic feel. Huama Road is not only a pedestrian route for the Flower Expo but also a scenic attraction worth visiting. In the future, it could also function as an extension of the Houfeng Bicycle Trail. The planning and design preserved the original ecological environment, involved considerable effort during construction, and took into account accessibility, energy conservation, carbon reduction, as well as landscape aesthetics—all to ensure that visitors can enjoy the Flower Expo park, which becomes even more beautiful as night falls.
