Typhoon Nepartak hit Taiwan, causing severe damage in Taitung. Now that the typhoon has passed, the area has entered the reconstruction phase. The originally scheduledSeasonal Table Festival on the 17th at the “Iron Flower New Settlement” has been confirmed to be postponed, and the public may need to wait a little longer.

The Iron Flower New Settlement was affected by Nepartak, resulting infallen roadside trees and damaged public artworks. Although the organizers and volunteers have started cleaning up, the extent of the damage is too great and will require more time for repairs. Therefore,the decision has been made to postpone the “Seasonal Table Festival”until the venue is restored, and a new date will be chosen for the event. The new date will be announced on theTaitung Just Like This Amazing Taitung - Taitung County Tourism Bureau official Facebook page, which also encourages Taitung residents to keep their spirits up so that the hometown can return to its original state as soon as possible.
