Philippines' top Instagrammable spot: Sweet treats to eat while you snap photos

Many people choose the capital Manila when vacationing in the Philippines. With its proximity to the sea, rich history, and numerous shopping malls, it is highly favored by international travelers. In Manila's Pasay district, the Dessert Museum stands out from traditional museums and is a must-visit destination for IG enthusiasts from around the world. Its exquisite and adorable setups are so photogenic that you won’t want to stop taking pictures—it’s truly a world-class Instagrammable spot.

Inside the Dessert Museum, there are a total of 8 themed rooms, each based on popular desserts scaled up to life-size. From the entrance, you can already feel the excitement of stepping into a fairytale-like dessert wonderland. Tickets at the door cost 799 Philippine pesos (approx. NT$448), but if you want to save some money, you can purchase them online in advance for 699 Philippine pesos (approx. NT$390).

The ticket is valid for a 2-hour visit. You enter through a cute donut-shaped slide, leading into a room decorated in yellow and pink with dozens of hanging donuts, making you feel as though you can almost smell their sweet aroma.

Moving on to the next room, you’ll find a space dominated by a vibrant sky-blue hue, featuring rows of fluffy white marshmallows that look like soft little snowballs. There’s also a table with colorful sweets and a chocolate fountain. Grab a fork, skewer a marshmallow, dip it in the chocolate, and enjoy—it’s both photogenic and fun.

There’s also a Marshmallow House, themed around the light and fluffy texture of marshmallows. The whole room is filled with pastel pink, giving you the dreamy feeling of being in a cloud-filled fairyland. In one corner, staff even offer real marshmallows for you to eat.
