Typhoon Kong-rei (international name: KONG-REY), the 25th typhoon, has formed as a mild typhoon. Its center is located at 12.30°N, 142.60°E, moving in a northwest–west direction at a speed of 26 km/h.

Typhoon Trami, categorized as a moderate typhoon (international name: Trami), has its center positioned at 26.5°N, 127.4°E, approximately 50 km northwest of the Ryukyu Islands. It is moving northeastward at 33 km/h, with maximum sustained winds near the center reaching 45 m/s (about 162 km/h). The storm has brought strong winds and heavy rain to Okinawa, and will soon affect Honshu, the Tohoku region, and even Hokkaido in Japan. Those traveling to or from Japan in the next couple of days should pay close attention to weather conditions and flight changes.

On the 30th, most areas across Taiwan, including Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu, will be mostly cloudy to sunny, with localized brief showers in the eastern and southeastern regions. The northern mountainous areas and northeastern parts may experience scattered brief showers, and the southern mountainous areas could also see localized brief showers in the afternoon.
